After the She Knows release, I started to set the demos and the b sides in order because I wanted to determine what I can release for a supplementation. So here are 8 original demos I've done 1
year after She Knows, remasterized in a electronic touch ( because the original sound was too...eww ). I hope you'll enjoy it. You can download Blue Youth here.

Year : 1993
Genre : Adventure ( Point & Click )
Developper : Lucas Arts
System : PC
Concurencing the Sierra adventures games, Lucas Arts has neverthless a bigger success, his system SCUMM ( Script Utility for Maniac Mansion ) makes masterpiece adventures games, year after year,
becoming more and more popular. Day of The Tentacle, the sequel to the first game using this one, Maniac Mansion, tell the story of a the purple tentacle ( creature of the Dr Fred ) who wants to
conquer the entire world. More fun than the first episode, you come back to the famous mansion but now, Monkey Island changed the rules ( you can't lose or die ) it is an adventure game focus on
puzzles not surviving. 3 characters are playable, in the same place, but not at the same time, a time travel has brought Hoagie and Laverne, the 2 friends of Bernard ( character playable in the
first episode, geek, fan of physic and Star Wars ) respectively in the past and the future. Logically, an action done in the past mean modifications in the present of in the future. Ron Gilbert
gone of Lucas Arts, the sequel is commited to Tim Schafer, who give to it a cartoon style, very impressive at that time ( it's like watching a cartoon on tv ) used again in Sam & Max the same
year. For those who have the chance to get the Talkie version, they benefit of quality voices, better than all the shitty adaptation in french you can have today. Day Of The Tentacle is , as all
the Lucas Arts Adventure Games in the 90's ( except Zak Mc Kraken maybe ) a incredible experience t
hat will never go out of fashion, improving years after years. A
reference.

Year : 1998
Genre : FPS / TPS
Developper : Lucas Arts
System : PC
Dark Forces in 1995 shook the world of Doom Like, realizing the dream of many Star Wars geeks : a FPS in the Star Wars universe. The game is a real hit, because it gets the nervousity of Doom but
with innovations like levels with objectives, dynamiting the opinion who has thought this type of game was only brutal.
After 3 years of waiting, Lucas Arts gives us a sequel his saga with Jedi Knight. Big innovation first, the apparition of Jedi Power and
also the light saber, weapon very useful and powerful. The game keeps working with a mission system but here, there is a personnal story ( Kyle Katarn , the same character of the first opus
) full of suspens. A good point, Jedi Knight is really a good compromise, a transition even, between Quake and Half Life. Dark Forces II stays archaic like his prequel but giving us a sensation
of freedom and to choose our own path in the level ( one of them are big and severals ways are possible ) as well as the many secrets passage you've got to discover. Jedi Knight make a new genre
of FPS, with an epic story, as a good episode of that could be the sequel of the first trilogy of Georges Lucas, after the Emperor death. One of the best FPS of these ten last years, as Half
Life, Quake or No Ones Lives Forever. A huge classic that remember the great time when Lucas Arts made good games...

Year : 2002
Genre : Arcade Space Simulator
Developper : digital ANVIL
System : PC
Space simulator games are probably the more difficult things to do in the world of video games. It's always a hard balance between an instinctive gameplay and a complexity proper to this type of
game ( a coherent universe with an economic dimension... ). On this two points, Freelancer is in good position, not the best ( Elite, raaah lovely... ) but for sure the best of this last years, his
principal opponent X², despite his complexity has totally made a flop, leaving the gamers alone in space. First , you enter directly in a game, a conspiration story is introduced and then you
start. You can do whatever you want ( follow the story is a good option anyway ), doing missions to ear money to have a better spaceship, or be a merchand and sell many stuffs in all the galaxy and
even be a evil bad man, shooting all is crossing your way. That the point the most important, this sensation of freedom, even if you have not ( at certain moments, you have scenario restrictions ).
Even for 5 years now, Freelancer has very good graphics, a spatial atmopshere, calm and relaxing, but his intensity during fights, very arcade and violent. You can have a duel between you and a
space pirate in a meteor fields or a giant battle ( as Star Wars ) with a hundred of ships shooting everywhere, making a real mess. Freelancer is not a game for hardcore gamers ( it is relatively
easy for this ones ) but he is a true moment of playing, and a good start for those who want to initiate themselves to Space Simulator. The others would prefer the Elite Saga, older but for
purists, a more abstract game for the dreamer, wanting to fly away to stars and nebulas...
